This course is designed for dispatchers and supervisors responsible for the receipt of domestic violence and sexual assault calls, their management and the dispatch of first responders.  This one day course provides current  information to assist dispatchers in the safe and successful handling of domestic violence and sexual assault incidents. This offering is a special course, providing 4 hours of POST certification on sexual assault and 4 hours of POST certification on domestic violence in one day. The course is team taught by a dispatcher, a law enforcement investigator and a victim advocate.

TUITION: None

POST Reimbursement Plan IV: There is no tuition for POST reimbursable agencies. As a POST Plan IV, student travel and per diem are normally reimbursable via Training Reimbursement Request (TRR) for this course. However, POST has temporarily suspended tuition and travel reimbursement for all courses, with the exception of classes outlined in POST Bulletin No. 2017-39. Travel may be reimbursed through grant funding – Scholarship Funding for travel is available through the California Office of Emergency Services (OES) Law Enforcement Training Program Grant PO17048519. There is no POST travel reimbursement for this course.
